Wu Yong made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Matias Sacadura sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 13 minutes, Aldo Brandão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Camarnais FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Brandão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maciej Dubiel charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Hermes Bandeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Wu Yong made a huge save. Cassiano Teves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maciej Dubiel in the 21st minute of the match. Edgar Meireles charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgar Meireles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Edgar Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Camarnais FC booed when Borneiros Gaia F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrézinho Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball.
