Spectators: 8000 (Terracing: 6001, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Samuel Casado started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Gastão Reis made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Safira Harammes's Sérgio Madruga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 5 played minutes SC Valdreu got a freekick which was hit by Erdinç Ganim. After some careless play in the Safira Harammes defense, Samuel Casado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sérgio Madruga. The Safira Harammes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sérgio Madruga should have stopped the shot. Quintino Baía recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18thth minute of the game Gastão Reis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Safira Harammes's Sérgio Madruga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Safira Harammes's goal looked a bit too open when Gastão Reis came free, but Sérgio Madruga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, SC Valdreu's goalkeeper Isidoro Isusko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Quintino Baía. Sérgio Madruga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Casado went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Sérgio Madruga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. If João Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gastão Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sérgio Madruga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gastão Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half SC Valdreu were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Quintino Baía to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Samuel Casado tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sérgio Madruga saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wally Wercollier charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wally Wercollier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wally Wercollier kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. When SC Valdreu's Samuel Casado in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Safira Harammes's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gastão Reis got free with Sérgio Madruga in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Safira Harammes's Sérgio Madruga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Safira Harammes from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Casado in the 74th minute of play forced Safira Harammes's goalkeeper Sérgio Madruga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SC Valdreu booed when Safira Harammes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrício Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute of the match SC Valdreu got a corner. Safira Harammes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erdinç Ganim ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Erdinç Ganim almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Safira Harammes's Sérgio Madruga did a great save. 88 minutes into the match, Quintino Baía notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of SC Valdreu's Isidoro Isusko. Isidoro Isusko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 92 played minutes Safira Harammes got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Pinho. In the 93rd of the match, Samuel Casado tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Sérgio Madruga got in the way and made a wonderful save. Isidoro Isusko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quintino Baía, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. SC Valdreu's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
