Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Afonso Lage started the match with the kick off. Eliseu Tristão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentim Mourinho having to interfere. Esmoriz's Valentim Mourinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almiro Veloso in the 5th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Eliseu Tristão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 9th play minutes Almiro Veloso shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Valentim Mourinho and just under the crossbar into goal. 13 minutes into the match, Eliseu Tristão notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Esmoriz's Valentim Mourinho. Valentim Mourinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Afonso Lage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentim Mourinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu Tristão in the 20th minute of play. Valentim Mourinho came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by estrelas's Altino Portugal. But to his dismay, Altino Portugal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The supporters of estrelas booed when Esmoriz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Noronha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute Eliseu Tristão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentim Mourinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseu Tristão scored 0-4 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valentim Mourinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Esmoriz's Valentim Mourinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseu Tristão in the 41st minute of play. Valentim Mourinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Almiro Veloso went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. After the first half estrelas were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Eliseu Tristão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Valentim Mourinho made a huge save. In the 55th minute Altino Portugal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentim Mourinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandro Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Almiro Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. estrelas's supporters rose to their feet, but Almiro Veloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentim Mourinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute, Antero Noronha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valentim Mourinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. In the 62nd match minute, Esmoriz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Seixas to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Altino Portugal took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Valentim Mourinho to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Esmoriz getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Hugo Onofre hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Altino Portugal notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Esmoriz's Valentim Mourinho. Valentim Mourinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 76 minutes of play, estrelas's Eliseu Tristão made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentim Mourinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valentim Mourinho made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Eliseu Tristão sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute, Altino Portugal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valentim Mourinho. The goal made the score 0-11. In the 85th minute André Fiúza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentim Mourinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Eliseu Tristão notched a goal, 0-13, to the right of Esmoriz's Valentim Mourinho. Valentim Mourinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 94th minute, Eliseu Tristão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The estrelas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-14. Almiro Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the match was over estrelas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Esmoriz throughout the match.
