Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Teófilo Sabrosa made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to PIQÕES FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Silvério Bulhosa hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordão Lamego in the 8th minute of play forced PIQÕES FC's goalkeeper Cyryl Siwek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes PIQÕES FC got a freekick which was hit by Teófilo Sabrosa. Cyryl Siwek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes, Valentim Oliveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PIQÕES FC and the Esmoriz players grew even worse after the yellow card. 28 minutes into the match, PIQÕES FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jordão Lamego came free, but Cyryl Siwek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esmoriz's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by André Sá in the 29th minute. The corner led Esmoriz's André Sá to fire away a dangerous shot which Cyryl Siwek despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Valentim Mourinho was a little too slow when Teófilo Sabrosa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-0. Lourenço Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Valentim Mourinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teófilo Sabrosa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Valentim Mourinho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Valentim Mourinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lourenço Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, André Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Esmoriz getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. André Sá hit a great ball. Teófilo Sabrosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentim Mourinho having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jordão Lamego to make the kick off. If Jordão Lamego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teófilo Sabrosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Valentim Mourinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esmoriz's Valentim Mourinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teófilo Sabrosa in the 59th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afonso Lage during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carlos Ruas hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Esmoriz's zone, Teófilo Sabrosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentim Mourinho came out of the goal and Teófilo Sabrosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute Teófilo Sabrosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentim Mourinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentim Mourinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lourenço Pereira in the 74th minute of play. Jordão Lamego charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jordão Lamego the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jordão Lamego kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Esmoriz's Valentim Mourinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lourenço Pereira in the 77th minute of play. Lourenço Pereira took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentim Mourinho. Valentim Mourinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Cyryl Siwek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Lage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lourenço Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teófilo Sabrosa scored 3-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valentim Mourinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The PIQÕES FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Esmoriz had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
