Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 4750, Seating: 1230, VIP seats: 20) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Igor Pimentel started the match with the kick off. The supporters of CD Pinhalnovense booed when Valcerto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juliano Lessa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 4 played minutes, CD Pinhalnovense's Daniel Carvalho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gentil Vital came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CD Pinhalnovense reached it. 6 minutes into the match, Rúben Caldeira notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Valcerto's Gentil Vital. Gentil Vital was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 11th minute, Igor Pimentel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rúben Caldeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Gentil Vital tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gentil Vital showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Pimentel in the 15th minute of the match. João Pinhal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gentil Vital made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rúben Caldeira in the 29th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Rúben Caldeira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gentil Vital was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. If Rúben Caldeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juliano Lessa during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 played minutes Valcerto got a freekick which was hit by Juliano Lessa. In the 36th minute of the match Daniel Carvalho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gentil Vital showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The CD Pinhalnovense fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when CD Pinhalnovense's Igor Pimentel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 41 minutes into the match, Valcerto's goal looked a bit too open when João Pinhal came free, but Gentil Vital reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 minutes, Igor Pimentel made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Valcerto's Gentil Vital tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gentil Vital showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomás Laureano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Tomás Laureano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ixaka Barcaiztegui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valcerto's Gentil Vital proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Valcerto from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the match, Valcerto's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Pimentel came free, but Gentil Vital reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Laureano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rúben Caldeira struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Gentil Vital didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Pinhalnovense. After a rather tough play, Valcerto's José Patrício got a free kick in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, CD Pinhalnovense's Igor Pimentel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gentil Vital narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th minute, João Pinhal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Pinhalnovense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Valcerto's Gentil Vital proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Valcerto from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Valcerto's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Carvalho was slow to take the kick. During this time CD Pinhalnovense's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on CD Pinhalnovense's corner Daniel Carvalho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gentil Vital quite easily take care of the ball. Rúben Caldeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Gentil Vital made a huge save. 92 minutes into the game, Daniel Coutinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Pinhalnovense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valcerto the free kick. Daniel Coutinho hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. If Rúben Caldeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
