The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Correia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to TRIGUEIROS getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Xavier Amaral hit a great ball. Caio Teves, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in TRIGUEIROS's zone, Eliseu Trigueiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Ferreira came out of the goal and Eliseu Trigueiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Durval de Sena scored 4-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomás Ferreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eliseu Trigueiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Ferreira having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Eliseu Trigueiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emílio Correia during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
