The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Teodoro Mourato's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romão Padilha was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. After 7 minutes of play, PINI FC's Witalis Bejrut made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romão Padilha was left in no man's land by his defense there! 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by LFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. André Taveira was slow to take the kick. During this time PINI FC's players had a chance to rest. Igor Christobal was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Romão Padilha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodoro Mourato went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 14 minutes of play, PINI FC's Teodoro Mourato made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romão Padilha was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 17 played minutes LFC got a freekick which was hit by Frederico Sequeira. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, André Taveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. PINI FC's supporters rose to their feet, but André Taveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romão Padilha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romão Padilha came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by PINI FC's Teodoro Mourato. But to his dismay, Teodoro Mourato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The supporters of PINI FC booed when LFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Balsemão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romão Padilha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodoro Mourato's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Damião Couto came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Manuel Magalhães could save by the left post. In the 31st minute, Teodoro Mourato ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romão Padilha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. If Teodoro Mourato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Mourato took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romão Padilha. Romão Padilha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. When Igor Christobal came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the PINI FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Christobal couldn't finish the play. Teodoro Mourato blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romão Padilha having to make a save. Teodoro Mourato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Romão Padilha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodoro Mourato made a kick off. Rogério Balsemão kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Teodoro Mourato scored 0-8 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romão Padilha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. LFC's Romão Padilha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Mourato in the 59th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Damião Couto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Magalhães was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Kacapa Fucks kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Romão Padilha. That made the score 0-9 in the 64 minute of play. André Semedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogério Balsemão charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Romão Padilha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Mourato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as PINI FC's Witalis Bejrut slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Romão Padilha. That made the score 0-10 after 75 minutes of play. The supporters of PINI FC booed when LFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílcar Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romão Padilha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Mourato, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Teodoro Mourato put it in 0-11 from a short distance just to the right of Romão Padilha. After 84 minutes of play, PINI FC's Igor Christobal made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodoro Mourato did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-14 to the left of a surprised Romão Padilha 92 minutes into the match. Damião Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. 97 minutes in the game, Teodoro Mourato fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Romão Padilha having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Teodoro Mourato's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romão Padilha was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. PINI FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
