Romão Padilha was left in no man's land by his defense there! João Pinhal might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romão Padilha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Pinhal ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 11th minute, Igor Pimentel made a precise shot to the right of Romão Padilha. LFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 20th minute, Rúben Caldeira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romão Padilha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Rúben Caldeira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romão Padilha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Aquilino Bento's late challenge caught a CD Pinhalnovense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquilino Bento helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Aquilino Bento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CD Pinhalnovense's Rúben Caldeira got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romão Padilha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Pimentel in the 26th minute of the match. Rúben Caldeira scored 0-5 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romão Padilha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Pimentel in the 36th minute of play forced LFC's goalkeeper Romão Padilha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ixaka Barcaiztegui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damião Couto's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Igor Pimentel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Romão Padilha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Igor Pimentel sped through LFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Romão Padilha. Igor Pimentel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The LFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CD Pinhalnovense were winning 0-9.

The wind increased when Damião Couto made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes in the game, Adalberto Pinheiro fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Romão Padilha having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Daniel Carvalho threw the ball into play from the sideline. LFC's Severiano Assis quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Romão Padilha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Pimentel in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rúben Caldeira got free with Romão Padilha in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute CD Pinhalnovense were awarded a corner. Daniel Carvalho went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of LFC's goalie and right to Adalberto Pinheiro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. LFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Romão Padilha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Pimentel in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Damião Couto notched a goal, 1-9, to the right of CD Pinhalnovense's Ixaka Barcaiztegui. Ixaka Barcaiztegui was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Romão Padilha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Pimentel in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Igor Pimentel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Pinhalnovense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-10. 77 minutes into the match, LFC's goalkeeper Romão Padilha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rúben Caldeira. Rogério Faria hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. CD Pinhalnovense's Igor Pimentel was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 79th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as CD Pinhalnovense's João Pinhal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Romão Padilha. That made the score 1-12 after 81 minutes of play. Rúben Caldeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Romão Padilha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romão Padilha was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Igor Pimentel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-13 in the 89 minute of play. Rúben Caldeira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romão Padilha having to make a save. CD Pinhalnovense played a much better game than LFC and deserved their victory. The LFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
