Miguel Salgado's late challenge caught a SC Tornado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Salgado helped the player get up and apologised. Miguel Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. SC Tornado's Ricardo Rodrigues shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Aldaír Ferreira but with some difficulty. The audience was convinced that Vivaldo Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aldaír Ferreira was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. AC Guizão's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro Granja ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Belo in the 74th minute of play forced AC Guizão's goalkeeper Aldaír Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Basílio Lima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0.
