Kent Lindkvists short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Honorato Alves to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The nice shot from Kent Lindkvist in the 3rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Honorato Alves had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 5th minute of the match G.D.Pedorido got a corner. SC Angrense's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ramiro Matos ran over to the corner to take the kick. 7 minutes into the match, SC Angrense's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Miguéis came free, but Honorato Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leif Lönn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Chorche, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 10 minutes G.D.Pedorido's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tzeko Kotlarski who took care of the corner kick. G.D.Pedorido's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ramiro Matos in the 14th minute. Honorato Alves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kent Lindkvist in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute G.D.Pedorido were awarded a corner. Ramiro Matos went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ramiro Matos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SC Angrense's Honorato Alves did a great save. In the 20th match minute Ramiro Matos ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Honorato Alves. 1-1. Leif Lönn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Meireles in the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of SC Angrense booed when G.D.Pedorido was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Sacadura didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th match minute, SC Angrense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tzeko Kotlarski to maneuver through the defense. Honorato Alves was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ramiro Matos. Leif Lönn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Chorche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erubiel Chorche scored 1-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leif Lönn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the match, G.D.Pedorido's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Meireles came free, but Leif Lönn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Carlos Meireles made a precise shot to the right of Leif Lönn. G.D.Pedorido's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. When SC Angrense's Carlos Meireles in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A collision led to SC Angrense getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Hugon Kolbert hit a great ball. After the first half SC Angrense were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Meireles was the one to do the kick off. Leif Lönn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Chorche in the 51st minute of play. Fernando Miguéis took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorato Alves. Honorato Alves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. SC Angrense's Honorato Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Miguéis in the 56th minute of play. Erubiel Chorche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Lönn having to interfere. Leif Lönn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carlos Meireles showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 64 minute of play. G.D.Pedorido's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Carlos Meireles scored to the left of an out of position Leif Lönn, making the score, 2-5. Erubiel Chorche was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 77th minute, Humberto Conde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, G.D.Pedorido's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Chorche came free, but Leif Lönn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Meireles got free with Leif Lönn in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leif Lönn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Meireles, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Fernando Miguéis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. G.D.Pedorido's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Miguéis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leif Lönn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Meireles in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, G.D.Pedorido's Fernando Miguéis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Honorato Alves narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
