Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zarco Águas in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sabino Marques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Zarco Águas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 played minutes IOL got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Castro. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Manuel Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. NinjaZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabino Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The NinjaZ fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when NinjaZ's Manuel Fernandes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The NinjaZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Zarco Águas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sabino Marques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The IOL players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. NinjaZ were winning 0-5.

The wind increased when Manuel Fernandes made the kick off in the second half. Celso Sobral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leandro Pinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Zarco Águas in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sabino Marques, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sabino Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. NinjaZ were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after IOL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zarco Águas took the corner. João Sardinha made a great header on NinjaZ's corner, it was just that IOL's Sabino Marques managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zarco Águas in the 73rd minute of play forced IOL's goalkeeper Sabino Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celso Sobral kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, NinjaZ's Manuel Fernandes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. In the 79thth minute of the game Zarco Águas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IOL's Sabino Marques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexandrino Tomé hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 82 minutes, Hélio Ventura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IOL and the NinjaZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zarco Águas walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Sabino Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Manuel Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabino Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Manuel Fernandes took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Sabino Marques to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of NinjaZ booed when IOL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Sobral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Fernandes succeeded in the game's 91st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-10. Leandro Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Sobral in the 95th minute of play. Manuel Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Sabino Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over NinjaZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than IOL throughout the match.
