Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Celso Sobral started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the game, Romão Neves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Olívio Calçada was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Augusto Montenegro took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olívio Calçada. Olívio Calçada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 11th minute Romão Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Calçada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Brasil getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. António Madureira hit a great ball. Augusto Montenegro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Olívio Calçada. Brasil's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 14th minute, Celso Sobral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brasil's Olívio Calçada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Sobral in the 16th minute of play. If Celso Sobral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Brasil's zone, Alexandrino Tomé stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olívio Calçada came out of the goal and Alexandrino Tomé tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 27 minutes, Celso Sobral made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Brasil's Olívio Calçada tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexandrino Tomé sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabino Marques having to interfere. A collision led to IOL getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Cláudio Castro hit a great ball. Olívio Calçada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachary Paraszczuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. IOL were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Brasil's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Celso Sobral took the corner. The corner ended in Celso Sobral almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Brasil's Olívio Calçada did a great save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jairo Simões to make the kick off. With a little luck, Brasil's Olívio Calçada got control of the ball when Celso Sobral tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 52nd minute Celso Sobral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Calçada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olívio Calçada was a little too slow when Cláudio Castro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-6. Olívio Calçada came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by IOL's Romão Neves. But to his dismay, Romão Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Celso Sobral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as IOL's Romão Neves slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Olívio Calçada. That made the score 0-8 after 63 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celso Sobral in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olívio Calçada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olívio Calçada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Sobral, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Augusto Montenegro charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Montenegro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to IOL getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Celso Sobral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by António Madureira during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 84 minutes into the game, IOL's Celso Sobral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olívio Calçada made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. After 88 minutes of play, IOL's Celso Sobral made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olívio Calçada was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Romão Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Olívio Calçada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Sobral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 96 in the game by Celso Sobral from a close distance when the talented Olívio Calçada managed to make a qualified save. Brasil's players were relieved. When the final whistle sounded IOL left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Brasil.
