Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Jorge Rico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Cerqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 minutes of play, Ribeirada's João Francisco Goiano made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Cerqueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! 10 minutes into the match, SC Macieira's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Gameiro came free, but David Cerqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Francisco Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. David Cerqueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Cerqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Rico, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. David Cerqueira came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Ribeirada's João Francisco Goiano. But to his dismay, João Francisco Goiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 18 minutes into the game, Ribeirada's Mário Gameiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Cerqueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 21 minutes into the match, SC Macieira's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Rico came free, but David Cerqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Francisco Goiano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Cerqueira having to make a save. The supporters of SC Macieira booed when Ribeirada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Francisco Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inácio Quinaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zarco Figueira in the 29th minute of the match. Mário Gameiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Cerqueira having to make a save. When Hipólito Rios fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Macieira's protests and gave Hipólito Rios a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes SC Macieira got a freekick which was hit by Hipólito Rios. 38 minutes into the game, Mário Gameiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. David Cerqueira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to SC Macieira getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Adão Mourinho hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Mário Gameiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ribeirada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

In a very dangerous position, a player in Ribeirada fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! Ribeirada:s Inácio Quinaz showed great skill when he stopped Hipólito Rios:s penalty. In the 54th minute, Hipólito Rios ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inácio Quinaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. 57 minutes into the game, Jorge Rico lined in a short shot 1-8 behind a frustrated David Cerqueira. A collision led to SC Macieira getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Adão Mourinho hit a great ball. David Cerqueira came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ribeirada's Jorge Rico. But to his dismay, Jorge Rico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-9. Inácio Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inácio Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. David Cerqueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ribeirada's João Francisco Goiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Cerqueira. That made the score 1-10 after 69 minutes of play. Ribeirada's Jorge Rico was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 72nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. David Cerqueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Francisco Goiano in the 75th minute. After 76 minutes SC Macieira's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jorge Rico who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Inácio Correia advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-12 in the 76th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Rico got free with David Cerqueira in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorge Rico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Cerqueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Jorge Rico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ribeirada's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Rico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Cerqueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 83 minutes into the match, Inácio Correia notched a goal, 1-13, to the right of SC Macieira's David Cerqueira. David Cerqueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Inácio Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Jorge Rico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Cerqueira. SC Macieira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Rico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-14. Inácio Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alexandre Liberato came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the SC Macieira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Liberato couldn't finish the play. Inácio Quinaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Catarino Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ribeirada played a much better game than SC Macieira and deserved their victory. The SC Macieira players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
