Fernando Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Fernandes in the 13th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zarco Águas in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Tinoco saved Marialva S.C. from getting behind. 26 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when NinjaZ's Zarco Águas fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After some careless play in the Marialva S.C. defense, Manuel Fernandes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Tinoco. The Marialva S.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Tinoco should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Ruas in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Pinho saved NinjaZ from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Manuel Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. NinjaZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernando Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zarco Águas in the 37th minute of the match. Manuel Ruas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Pinho having to interfere. In the 47thth minute of the game Zarco Águas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marialva S.C.'s Fernando Tinoco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

José Garrido hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Manuel Ruas hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Marialva S.C.'s Fernando Tinoco got control of the ball when Zarco Águas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Zarco Águas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernando Tinoco. That made the score 0-3 in the 80 minute of play. The NinjaZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing NinjaZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
