An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Lorca in the 23rd minute of play forced SC Sopegal's goalkeeper Adão Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Leonel Lorca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adão Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adão Leite made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Jonny Olofsson sent off a good shot on target. Donato Fiúza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Paulo Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute 狄松鹏 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adão Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, SC Sopegal's goalkeeper Adão Leite had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Takis Petropoulos. After 36 played minutes SC Sopegal got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Valadares. The audience thought a goal was coming when Takis Petropoulos got free with Adão Leite in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adão Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukasz Ruzicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 52 minutes of play SC Sopegal's Vladimiro Valadares was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of SC Asseca booed when SC Sopegal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Sopegal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 狄松鹏 was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Asseca's players had a chance to rest. Donato Fiúza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Sopegal's Adão Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Billing in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 minutes, Leonel Lorca made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. SC Sopegal's Adão Leite tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Adão Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 狄松鹏 in the 67th minute of play. With 69 minutes on the clock, Paulo Cardoso commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to SC Sopegal getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Paulo Cardoso hit a great ball. 狄松鹏 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the SC Sopegal defense, Takis Petropoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adão Leite. The SC Sopegal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adão Leite should have stopped the shot. Adão Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takis Petropoulos in the 85th minute of play. Adão Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Olofsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Sopegal's Adão Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Lorca in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, SC Sopegal's goal looked a bit too open when 狄松鹏 came free, but Adão Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SC Asseca fully deserved thier win.
