Sul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahto Hõbe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ivo Prestes was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Ahto Hõbe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ahto Hõbe really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. If Heitor Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johannes Sigman kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Heitor Carneiro's late challenge caught a Montijo F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heitor Carneiro helped the player get up and apologised. Heitor Carneiro hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Emanuel Lobato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ivo Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahto Hõbe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Ivo Prestes made a huge save. Ivo Prestes made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Alek Van Hooveldt sent off a good shot on target. Ahto Hõbe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo Prestes having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raul Esteves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Montijo F.C's Timmie Buckinx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Esteves in the 52nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Heitor Carneiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Timmie Buckinx was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Montijo F.C's Timmie Buckinx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Montijo F.C from getting a goal against them. Ivo Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amável Madruga in the 69th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Raul Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sul's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Esteves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timmie Buckinx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute, Ahto Hõbe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montijo F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After a rather tough play, Sul's Basílio Vaz got a free kick in the 78th minute. Heitor Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Timmie Buckinx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alek Van Hooveldt fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montijo F.C's protests and gave Alek Van Hooveldt a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Montijo F.C's Alek Van Hooveldt got a free kick in the 85th minute. A collision led to Sul getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Heitor Carneiro hit a great ball. After 90 played minutes Sul got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Vaz. After 92 minutes of play, Sul's Raul Esteves made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Timmie Buckinx was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Lobato in the 95th minute of play forced Sul's goalkeeper Ivo Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Montijo F.C had played much better football throughout.
