With a little luck, CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS's António Brochado got control of the ball when Luís Gomes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teófilo Ferrão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Esteves went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Marim's goalkeeper Teófilo Ferrão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Olívio Nóbrega fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Marim's protests and gave Olívio Nóbrega a yellow card for diving instead. Olívio Nóbrega hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Laureano Rego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teófilo Ferrão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teófilo Ferrão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Esteves in the 32nd minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS's Jorge Esteves made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teófilo Ferrão was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Esteves in the 36th minute of play forced Real Marim's goalkeeper Teófilo Ferrão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Luís Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Real Marim's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Rego came free, but Teófilo Ferrão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Real Marim players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Esteves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Leal Seabra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Brochado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Afonso Nunes in the 62nd minute. The corner led CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS's Evandro Viana to fire away a dangerous shot which Teófilo Ferrão despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS's Jorge Esteves in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Marim's goalie prevented a goal. Teófilo Ferrão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evandro Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th match minute, CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Junqueira to maneuver through the defense. CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS's António Brochado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leal Seabra in the 76th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Leal Seabra put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of António Brochado. When Real Marim's Luís Gomes in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS's goalie prevented a goal. Teófilo Ferrão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Esteves in the 91st minute. Laureano Rego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teófilo Ferrão having to interfere. Teófilo Ferrão made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Laureano Rego sent off a good shot on target. CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
