Santiago Pedroso's late challenge caught a keep Strong's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santiago Pedroso helped the player get up and apologised. After 8 played minutes Soutaria 99 got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Pedroso. Óscar Quintela scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jordão Santiago, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 18 played minutes keep Strong got a freekick which was hit by Armando Sales. Ashley Cordingley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Pedroso in the 22nd minute of play. Soutaria 99's Jordão Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Óscar Quintela in the 25th minute of play. Óscar Quintela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordão Santiago having to interfere. keep Strong's Homero Caires got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Soutaria 99's Éder Estrela got a free kick in the 39th minute. Jordão Santiago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Homero Caires went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The Soutaria 99 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. keep Strong were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Óscar Quintela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jordão Santiago was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Óscar Quintela capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Óscar Quintela really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3.
