Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5875, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Óscar Vaz started the match with the kick off. Jordão Santiago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingos Sampaio's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. After 7 minutes, Domingos Sampaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ponta do Pargo F.C and the Soutaria 99 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Ponta do Pargo F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute Sidónio Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higino Antas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higino Antas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Óscar Vaz in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Soutaria 99's goal looked a bit too open when José Peralta came free, but Jordão Santiago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Ponta do Pargo F.C's Higino Antas got control of the ball when Óscar Vaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ponta do Pargo F.C's zone, Sidónio Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higino Antas came out of the goal and Sidónio Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Higino Antas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Óscar Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute Óscar Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higino Antas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Peralta kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Soutaria 99's Santiago Pedroso got a free kick in the 37th minute. Joaquim Peseiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordão Santiago having to interfere. Higino Antas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidónio Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Domingos Sampaio made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Óscar Vaz in the 54th minute of play forced Ponta do Pargo F.C's goalkeeper Higino Antas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ponta do Pargo F.C's Domingos Sampaio got his second yellow card of the match in the 60th minute. The referee ordered Domingos Sampaio off the ground. After 61 played minutes Ponta do Pargo F.C got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Sampaio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gentil Caneira in the 68th minute of play forced Ponta do Pargo F.C's goalkeeper Higino Antas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When José Peralta came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Ponta do Pargo F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Peralta couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gentil Caneira in the 72nd minute of play forced Ponta do Pargo F.C's goalkeeper Higino Antas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Aldaír Conde was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ponta do Pargo F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Soutaria 99 the free kick. 76 minutes into the match, Sidónio Mendonça notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ponta do Pargo F.C's Higino Antas. Higino Antas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 78 played minutes Ponta do Pargo F.C got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Peseiro. Soutaria 99 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
