The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rafael Câmara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olívio Vidigal having to interfere. After 9 minutes of play, Baião FC's Rafael Câmara made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olívio Vidigal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Laércio Valverde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olívio Vidigal having to interfere. Witold Bondel hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After having played for 19 minutes, Aldo Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. os solitarios's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandre Vale took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olívio Vidigal. Olívio Vidigal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 24 minutes into the match, os solitarios's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Falcão came free, but Olívio Vidigal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olívio Vidigal came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Baião FC's Laércio Valverde. But to his dismay, Laércio Valverde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 28 minutes into the match, Manuel Falcão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olívio Vidigal. os solitarios's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Falcão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. A collision led to os solitarios getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Bartlomiej Jastrowicz hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, os solitarios's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Vale came free, but Olívio Vidigal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the os solitarios defense, Rafael Câmara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olívio Vidigal. The os solitarios fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olívio Vidigal should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute Manuel Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Vidigal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. os solitarios's Olívio Vidigal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Câmara in the 40th minute of play. Manuel Falcão struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Olívio Vidigal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baião FC. After a defensive mix-up in os solitarios's zone, Laércio Valverde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olívio Vidigal came out of the goal and Laércio Valverde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 44 played minutes os solitarios got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Nunes. After a rather tough play, os solitarios's Witold Bondel got a free kick in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Baião FC's Laércio Valverde sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olívio Vidigal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 46 minutes into the game, Pedro Viveiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. os solitarios's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baião FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, os solitarios's Pedro Viveiros got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Witold Bondel to strike the kick off in the second half. Olívio Vidigal didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 54th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Laércio Valverde got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Olívio Vidigal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Vale in the 70th minute of the match. Rafael Câmara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olívio Vidigal having to interfere. Laércio Valverde's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Olívio Vidigal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Baião FC booed when os solitarios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. 何常霆 didn't get a good kick on the ball. os solitarios's Olívio Vidigal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save os solitarios from getting a goal against them. A collision led to os solitarios getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Witold Bondel hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, os solitarios's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Vale came free, but Olívio Vidigal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rafael Câmara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olívio Vidigal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alexandre Vale showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 83 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in os solitarios's zone, Laércio Valverde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olívio Vidigal came out of the goal and Laércio Valverde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laércio Valverde came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Olívio Vidigal could save by the left post. Baião FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
