After 3rd play minutes Reginaldo Moutinho shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Roberto Bernardes and just under the crossbar into goal. Roberto Bernardes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Portugal went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When Augusto Portugal got free in front of the goal in the 10th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Roberto Bernardes was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The Lusos Crew fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Lusos Crew's Reginaldo Moutinho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fabiano de Alcântara scored 4-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roberto Bernardes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afonso Leitão during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes SC Pomaraco got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Leitão. In the 25th minute, Lusos Crew's Augusto Portugal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roberto Bernardes. Roberto Bernardes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Pomaraco! When the match had been going on for 31 minutes, Lusos Crew's Augusto Portugal got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Roberto Bernardes. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Reginaldo Moutinho put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Roberto Bernardes. Reginaldo Moutinho came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roberto Bernardes could save by the left post. Lusos Crew's Augusto Portugal got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Reginaldo Moutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lusos Crew's supporters rose to their feet, but Reginaldo Moutinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Bernardes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the match, SC Pomaraco's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Portugal came free, but Roberto Bernardes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Marco Bülow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Júdice, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norberto Ferreira's late challenge caught a Lusos Crew's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norberto Ferreira helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lusos Crew booed when SC Pomaraco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Reginaldo Moutinho put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Roberto Bernardes. SC Pomaraco's Roberto Bernardes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reginaldo Moutinho in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Augusto Portugal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roberto Bernardes. SC Pomaraco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto Portugal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Marco Bülow made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Laurentino Ruas sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sabino Teles got free with Marco Bülow in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Norberto Ferreira got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to SC Pomaraco getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Norberto Ferreira hit a great ball. Roberto Bernardes came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Lusos Crew's Augusto Portugal. But to his dismay, Augusto Portugal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. SC Pomaraco's Roberto Bernardes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reginaldo Moutinho in the 72nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Augusto Portugal put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of Roberto Bernardes. Roberto Bernardes came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Lusos Crew's Reginaldo Moutinho. But to his dismay, Reginaldo Moutinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. The Lusos Crew fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Lusos Crew's Augusto Portugal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 13-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Reginaldo Moutinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto Bernardes was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the game, Lusos Crew's Augusto Portugal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roberto Bernardes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. When Lusos Crew's Augusto Portugal in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Pomaraco's goalie prevented a goal. In the 93rd minute, Reginaldo Moutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
