Paulino Azeredo's late challenge caught a Celtic FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulino Azeredo helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes Galaxy Union FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Azeredo. After recieving a nice pass, Celtic FC's Ademar Figueiredo tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bruno Ávila took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Atanasije Martać. Atanasije Martać dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.

Paras Mota's late challenge caught a Galaxy Union FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atanasije Martać was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Bruno Ávila capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bruno Ávila really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. After a rather tough play, Galaxy Union FC's Tiago Barroso got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Salgado in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atanasije Martać prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Galaxy Union FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Celtic FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
