With a little luck, Sporting Vila Facaia's Homero Carrasqueira got control of the ball when Teófilo Valadares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Homero Carrasqueira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paulino Azeredo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 16th minute Rui Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atanasije Martać saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute Amado Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Homero Carrasqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sporting Vila Facaia's Homero Carrasqueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Vila Facaia from getting a goal against them. Homero Carrasqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Paulino Azeredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Homero Carrasqueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulino Azeredo in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, Salvador Pimenta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Homero Carrasqueira. Sporting Vila Facaia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salvador Pimenta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 38 minutes into the game, Paulino Azeredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Homero Carrasqueira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Homero Carrasqueira didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 42nd minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. Paulino Azeredo in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Homero Carrasqueira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulino Azeredo to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Azeredo in the 59th minute of play forced Sporting Vila Facaia's goalkeeper Homero Carrasqueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Homero Carrasqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Azeredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sabino Belo struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Homero Carrasqueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galaxy Union FC. Homero Carrasqueira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Namık Kemal Gültekin went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Galaxy Union FC's Enzo Ribas was substituted for Amado Teles. After having played for 79 minutes, Paulino Azeredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galaxy Union FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulino Azeredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sporting Vila Facaia's Homero Carrasqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Namık Kemal Gültekin in the 82nd minute of play. Homero Carrasqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teófilo Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute Teófilo Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Homero Carrasqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sporting Vila Facaia's Homero Carrasqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quintino Quintela in the 87th minute of play. Homero Carrasqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Homero Carrasqueira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulino Azeredo's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Teófilo Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galaxy Union FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teófilo Valadares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Homero Carrasqueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute, Enzo Ribas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Homero Carrasqueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Galaxy Union FC fully deserved thier win.
