Jerónimo Cardoso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alípio Palha having to make a save. In the 13th minute Jesualdo Mourato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saúl Zambujal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes, Almiro Santarém mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the G. D. PENICHE V2 and the Academia Dragões-FLF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tato Orihuela struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Alípio Palha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for G. D. PENICHE V2. After 20 minutes Academia Dragões-FLF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nestor Cresenciano who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on G. D. PENICHE V2's corner Nestor Cresenciano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alípio Palha quite easily take care of the ball. In the 24th minute, G. D. PENICHE V2's Tato Orihuela dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 27th minute Tato Orihuela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alípio Palha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerónimo Cardoso was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 32nd minute. G. D. PENICHE V2's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jerónimo Cardoso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Alípio Palha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 37th minute, G. D. PENICHE V2's Tato Orihuela dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 42nd minute, Tato Orihuela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Academia Dragões-FLF's Alípio Palha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Academia Dragões-FLF from getting a goal against them. Jerónimo Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alípio Palha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerónimo Cardoso went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jesualdo Mourato to strike the kick off in the second half. Alípio Palha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tato Orihuela went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When G. D. PENICHE V2's Jerónimo Cardoso in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. G. D. PENICHE V2 were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Academia Dragões-FLF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nestor Cresenciano took the corner. The corner led G. D. PENICHE V2's Nestor Cresenciano to fire away a dangerous shot which Alípio Palha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 78th match minute, Academia Dragões-FLF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Lobo to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Tato Orihuela sped through Academia Dragões-FLF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alípio Palha. Alípio Palha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tato Orihuela in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Academia Dragões-FLF's goal looked a bit too open when Jerónimo Cardoso came free, but Alípio Palha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tato Orihuela took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alípio Palha. Alípio Palha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Jerónimo Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that G. D. PENICHE V2 were the better team. G. D. PENICHE V2's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
