Folgosinho Lions's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amadeu Lessa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Basílio Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higino Estrada in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Amadeu Lessa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of António Coutinho. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Folgosinho Lions's goalkeeper António Coutinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amadeu Lessa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. António Coutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Lustosa hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. António Coutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Lessa, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amadeu Lessa in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg António Coutinho saved Folgosinho Lions from getting behind. After 40 minutes, Fernando Freitas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Folgosinho Lions and the Cever FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 played minutes Folgosinho Lions got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Freitas. 44 minutes into the game, Nicolau Ventura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cever FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Folgosinho Lions the free kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Higino Estrada made a kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Cever FC's Cândido Mansilha made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. António Coutinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 54th minute Higino Estrada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cever FC's Amadeu Lessa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of António Coutinho. That made the score 0-5 after 57 minutes of play. When Sílvio Ferrão came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Folgosinho Lions fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio Ferrão couldn't finish the play. Aprígio Pádua who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of António Coutinho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Daniel Lustosa fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Folgosinho Lions's protests and gave Daniel Lustosa a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Lustosa kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. António Coutinho was a little too slow when Amadeu Lessa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-6. Aprígio Páduas short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got António Coutinho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Aprígio Páduas short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got António Coutinho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If David Novais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 84 played minutes, Cever FC's António Miguéis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper António Coutinho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cever FC reached it. Aprígio Pádua succeeded in the game's 85th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-7. David Novais hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Sílvio Ferrão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
