The tension between the Cotinguiba Futebol Manage and the Pedreiras SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. José Castanheira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeferino Durães in the 9th minute. Rodrigo Peralta took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rui Lisboa. Rui Lisboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 15 played minutes Pedreiras SC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Peralta. In the 16th match minute, Cotinguiba Futebol Manage was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Cruz to maneuver through the defense. Rui Lisboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Lencastre in the 20th minute of play. After 21 minutes Cotinguiba Futebol Manage's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marco Reus who took care of the corner kick. Pedreiras SC's Marco Reus was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rui Lisboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pedreiras SC's José Castanheira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Pedreiras SC from getting a goal against them. After 26 minutes of play, Pedreiras SC's Marco Reus made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Lisboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Pedreiras SC fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Pedreiras SC's Domingos Lencastre looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Manuel Bacelar hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Joaquim Santana took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Castanheira. José Castanheira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. When Rodrigo Peralta came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Pedreiras SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Peralta couldn't finish the play. Gabriel Meireles hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Cotinguiba Futebol Manage's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Lencastre came free, but Rui Lisboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Reus was slow to take the kick. During this time Pedreiras SC's players had a chance to rest.
