In the 3rd minute, Afonso Granja sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's Leandro Meireles didn't even have to move. 5 minutes into the game, Igor Barata was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mariadeira Boavista FC the free kick. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos! After 9 minutes of play, Mariadeira Boavista FC's Tomás Aragones made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leandro Meireles was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leandro Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Laferla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basílio Pinto hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Aristides Martxel notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's Leandro Meireles. Leandro Meireles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd minute, Oliver Laferla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mariadeira Boavista FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Leandro Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Martxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Mariadeira Boavista FC were awarded a corner. Afonso Granja went to the cornerflag to take it. Mariadeira Boavista FC's Keylor Navas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Mariadeira Boavista FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oliver Laferla in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Meireles saved Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Mariadeira Boavista FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Castilho came free, but Keylor Navas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Aragones in the 34th minute of play. When Mariadeira Boavista FC's Oliver Laferla in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's Manuel Carneiro got a free kick in the 36th minute. Keylor Navas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabiano Castilho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keylor Navas having to interfere. When Oliver Laferla came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Mariadeira Boavista FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliver Laferla couldn't finish the play.
After 54th play minutes Oliver Laferla shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Leandro Meireles and just under the crossbar into goal. Keylor Navas came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's Basílio Pinto. But to his dismay, Basílio Pinto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Keylor Navas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Carneiro in the 62nd minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Aristides Martxel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leandro Meireles. Aristides Martxel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. When Ursus Erler fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's protests and gave Ursus Erler a yellow card for diving instead. Ursus Erler hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Aragones in the 71st minute of play forced Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's goalkeeper Leandro Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Aragones in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Meireles saved Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos from getting behind. Tomás Aragones let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 73rd minute shot 1-7 at rihgt post. Keylor Navas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Carneiro in the 78th minute of play forced Mariadeira Boavista FC's goalkeeper Keylor Navas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keylor Navas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 81st minute, Mariadeira Boavista FC's Tomás Aragones ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leandro Meireles. Leandro Meireles yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-8. Oliver Laferla scored 1-9 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leandro Meireles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 88 minutes into the match, Tomás Aragones dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leandro Meireles, 1-10. After a rather tough play, Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's Fabiano Castilho got a free kick in the 90th minute. Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's Leandro Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Laferla in the 93rd minute of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Tomás Aragones managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mariadeira Boavista FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Aragones was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Mariadeira Boavista FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos.
