In the 10th minute, Aristides Martxel made a precise shot to the right of Șerban Iovanovici. Alcateia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. A hard shot 13 in the game by Oliver Laferla from a close distance when the talented Șerban Iovanovici managed to make a qualified save. Alcateia FC's players were relieved. Șerban Iovanovici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Garcia in the 20th minute of play. Alcateia FC's Șerban Iovanovici proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Alcateia FC from getting a goal against them. Șerban Iovanovici didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Aragones went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Alcateia FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Tomás Aragones scored to the left of an out of position Șerban Iovanovici, making the score, 5-0. Șerban Iovanovici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Garcia in the 31st minute of play. Șerban Iovanovici made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aristides Martxel in the 32nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oliver Laferla in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Șerban Iovanovici saved Alcateia FC from getting behind. In the 40th minute, Virgílio Garcia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Șerban Iovanovici was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Aristides Martxel took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Șerban Iovanovici. Șerban Iovanovici dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 9-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oliver Laferla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alcateia FC's Șerban Iovanovici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Martxel in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Laferla in the 55th minute of play forced Alcateia FC's goalkeeper Șerban Iovanovici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Șerban Iovanovici came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Mariadeira Boavista FC's Tomás Aragones. But to his dismay, Tomás Aragones quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. In the 66th minute, Dionisio Lugo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alcateia FC's Șerban Iovanovici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Laferla in the 69th minute of play. Aristides Martxel took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Șerban Iovanovici. Șerban Iovanovici dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. After 74 minutes of play, Mariadeira Boavista FC's Tomás Aragones made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Șerban Iovanovici was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomás Aragones scored 13-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Șerban Iovanovici, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Șerban Iovanovici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Martxel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Aristides Martxel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mariadeira Boavista FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-0. 15-0 became the score in the 88th minute when Tomás Aragones elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 93 minutes into the game, Mariadeira Boavista FC's Tomás Aragones nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Șerban Iovanovici made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 16-0. There was no doubt that Mariadeira Boavista FC were the better team. Mariadeira Boavista FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
