Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's Leandro Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Medeiros in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Ursus Erler notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of ADC Perre's Jarbas Carvalhal. Jarbas Carvalhal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's Manuel Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The ADC Perre supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cruz de Cristo-Carvalhos's performance.
