Spectators: 7974 (Terracing: 6074, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 100) Raúl Cruz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Benfica de Penafirme booed when Redundo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Junqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Junqueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isac Baião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fridun Schwemer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, Benfica de Penafirme's goalkeeper Silvano Fragoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Junqueira. Duarte Portela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute Nuno Ponte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Baião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isac Baião stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raúl Cruz's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Isac Baião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Nuxila in the 12th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match Charles Arruda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isac Baião skillfully saved the ball. Guilherme Alcântara hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Isac Baião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Nuxila in the 23rd minute of play. Frederico lacerda's late challenge caught a Benfica de Penafirme's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frederico lacerda helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Frederico lacerda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the game, Raúl Cruz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Isac Baião was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Isac Baião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Nuxila in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to Redundo getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Grzegorz Fujarczuk hit a great ball. After the first half Benfica de Penafirme were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardo Junqueira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Fridun Schwemer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Baião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Junqueira in the 53rd minute of play forced Benfica de Penafirme's goalkeeper Silvano Fragoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Isac Baião throw himself and got hold of the ball when Raúl Cruz in the 54thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Benfica de Penafirme's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Charles Arruda in the 56th minute. The corner ended in Charles Arruda almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Redundo's Isac Baião did a great save. Fridun Schwemer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Baião having to interfere. Bernardo Junqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Silvano Fragoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 played minutes Redundo got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Santarém. In the 78th minute, Raúl Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Redundo's Isac Baião got control of the ball when Nuno Ponte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Justo Nuxila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isac Baião read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Benfica de Penafirme's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Charles Arruda in the 84th minute. The corner ended in Charles Arruda almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Redundo's Isac Baião did a great save. Redundo's Isac Baião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fridun Schwemer in the 85th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jo Soares during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes Redundo got a freekick which was hit by Guilherme Alcântara. Charles Arruda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isac Baião having to make a save. Isac Baião made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Nuno Ponte sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the match, Redundo's goalkeeper Isac Baião had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raúl Cruz. Benfica de Penafirme's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
