Elias Mendes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Justo Nuxila put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Elias Mendes. When Benfica de Penafirme's Raúl Cruz in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AL-Bombarralense B's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to AL-Bombarralense B getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Telmo Semedo hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Charles Arruda sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and AL-Bombarralense B's Elias Mendes didn't even have to move. Elias Mendes came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Benfica de Penafirme's Raúl Cruz. But to his dismay, Raúl Cruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 18th minute, Fridun Schwemer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Benfica de Penafirme fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Raúl Cruz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elias Mendes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Raúl Cruz notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of AL-Bombarralense B's Elias Mendes. Elias Mendes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in AL-Bombarralense B's zone, Raúl Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Mendes came out of the goal and Raúl Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute, Raúl Cruz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elias Mendes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. After some careless play in the AL-Bombarralense B defense, Raúl Cruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elias Mendes. The AL-Bombarralense B fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elias Mendes should have stopped the shot. Elias Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Nuxila in the 41st minute of play. After 42 minutes AL-Bombarralense B's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Charles Arruda who took care of the corner kick. Benfica de Penafirme's Charles Arruda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Elias Mendes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 43rd minute, Raúl Cruz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Benfica de Penafirme fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raúl Cruz in the 47th minute of play forced AL-Bombarralense B's goalkeeper Elias Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The AL-Bombarralense B players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Benfica de Penafirme were winning 0-8.

The wind increased when Cássio Novais made the kick off in the second half. Raúl Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Elias Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute Justo Nuxila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justo Nuxila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Elias Mendes made a huge save. In the 58th minute, Benfica de Penafirme's Raúl Cruz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Elias Mendes made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Justo Nuxila sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raúl Cruz in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elias Mendes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the match, AL-Bombarralense B's goal looked a bit too open when Raúl Cruz came free, but Elias Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AL-Bombarralense B's Elias Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fridun Schwemer in the 69th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raúl Cruz in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elias Mendes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 77th play minutes Fridun Schwemer shot 0-10, a short shot which went by Elias Mendes and just under the crossbar into goal. Raúl Cruzs short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Elias Mendes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 83 minutes into the game, Benfica de Penafirme's Justo Nuxila nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elias Mendes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. When the match was over Benfica de Penafirme could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AL-Bombarralense B throughout the match.
