Spectators: 8017 (Terracing: 6015, Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Santiago Guimarães started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Silvério Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot. SEGAFREDO CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvério Quadros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Palmiro Bezerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Homero Cerqueira let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 6th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. With a little luck, Purgacal's Palmiro Bezerra got control of the ball when Silvério Quadros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Homero Cerqueira struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Palmiro Bezerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SEGAFREDO CF. After having played for 16 minutes, Homero Cerqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SEGAFREDO CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Homero Cerqueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Homero Cerqueiras short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Palmiro Bezerra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Palmiro Bezerra was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Silvério Quadros capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Silvério Quadros really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 21st minute, Homero Cerqueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Palmiro Bezerra was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Mario Diagur's late challenge caught a Purgacal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Diagur helped the player get up and apologised. After 25 played minutes SEGAFREDO CF got a freekick which was hit by Mario Diagur. 27 minutes into the match, SEGAFREDO CF's Silvério Quadros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Palmiro Bezerra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Palmiro Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Caldas in the 35th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Homero Cerqueira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Palmiro Bezerra. That made the score 4-0 in the 40 minute of play. After 46 minutes, Silvério Quadros made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Purgacal's Palmiro Bezerra tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Homero Cerqueira made a kick off. Silvério Quadros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Palmiro Bezerra having to make a save. Palmiro Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvério Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Homero Cerqueira in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Palmiro Bezerra saved Purgacal from getting behind. Palmiro Bezerra came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by SEGAFREDO CF's Homero Cerqueira. But to his dismay, Homero Cerqueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. The audience was convinced that Silvério Quadros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Palmiro Bezerra was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Purgacal's zone, Homero Cerqueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Palmiro Bezerra came out of the goal and Homero Cerqueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Homero Cerqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SEGAFREDO CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Homero Cerqueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Palmiro Bezerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Idalécio Quinaz, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Palmiro Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Homero Cerqueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The SEGAFREDO CF fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when SEGAFREDO CF's Homero Cerqueira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 80 minutes of play, SEGAFREDO CF's Homero Cerqueira made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Palmiro Bezerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! 83 minutes into the match, Homero Cerqueira notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Purgacal's Palmiro Bezerra. Palmiro Bezerra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87th minute, Silvério Quadros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SEGAFREDO CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. In the 91st match minute, SEGAFREDO CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Águas to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Homero Cerqueira in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Palmiro Bezerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 94 minutes, Caio Oliveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Purgacal and the SEGAFREDO CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SEGAFREDO CF booed when Purgacal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caio Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the SEGAFREDO CF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
