Spectators: 8056 (Terracing: 6043, Seating: 1853, VIP seats: 160) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Raúl Cavalcante kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilídio Neves during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind SEGAFREDO CF's goalkeeper Marius Søndenå, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 14th minute Fatih Tekke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marius Søndenå saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noel Menezes kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.João de Areias's goalkeeper Yusuf Ziya Sertaç, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raúl Cavalcante got free with Yusuf Ziya Sertaç in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ferenc van Nistelrooij took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marius Søndenå. Marius Søndenå dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a little luck, S.João de Areias's Yusuf Ziya Sertaç got control of the ball when Raúl Cavalcante tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32ndth minute of the game Bonifacio Aznar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SEGAFREDO CF's Marius Søndenå was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marius Søndenå took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferenc van Nistelrooij, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Silvério Quadros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yusuf Ziya Sertaç. That made the score 1-1 in the 36 minute of play. In the 40th minute, Ferenc van Nistelrooij made a precise shot to the right of Marius Søndenå. SEGAFREDO CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Lourenço Godinho put in a rough tackle. The referee gave SEGAFREDO CF a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lucílio lacerda, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of S.João de Areias's Yusuf Ziya Sertaç. 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Bonifacio Aznar made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, S.João de Areias's Filipe Pimenta got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvério Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by SEGAFREDO CF's Silvério Quadros. But to his dismay, Silvério Quadros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 58th match minute, S.João de Areias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torcato Boaventura to maneuver through the defense. Nuno Ávila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yusuf Ziya Sertaç having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Silvério Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot. SEGAFREDO CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvério Quadros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to S.João de Areias getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ferenc van Nistelrooij hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Lucílio lacerda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raúl Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yusuf Ziya Sertaç having to interfere. The supporters of SEGAFREDO CF booed when S.João de Areias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferenc van Nistelrooij didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 played minutes SEGAFREDO CF got a freekick which was hit by Ilídio Neves. In the 77th minute, Raúl Cavalcante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério Quadros in the 80th minute of play. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério Quadros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute of the match SEGAFREDO CF got a corner. S.João de Areias's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucílio lacerda ran over to the corner to take the kick. SEGAFREDO CF's Lucílio lacerda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Yusuf Ziya Sertaç in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marius Søndenå showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Aznar, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raúl Cavalcante in the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Silvério Quadros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yusuf Ziya Sertaç. S.João de Areias's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvério Quadros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Marius Søndenå showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Aznar in the 94th minute of the match. After 96 minutes of play, SEGAFREDO CF's Silvério Quadros made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç was left in no man's land by his defense there! SEGAFREDO CF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of S.João de Areias for a fine match.
