Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sidónio Maciel started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Rio Meão got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Carvalhais. Mariano Neiva, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hélder Matias was a little too slow when Sidónio Maciel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 11th minute, Sidónio Maciel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th match minute, Rio Meão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romão Caiado to maneuver through the defense. Reinaldo Moutinho charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reinaldo Moutinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Reinaldo Moutinho hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Paulino Ferrão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fc dragoom's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulino Ferrão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Afonso Pádua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Gusmão in the 22nd minute of play. Hélder Matias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidónio Maciel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reinaldo Moutinho got his second yellow card in the match during the 28th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of fc dragoom booed when Rio Meão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Moutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Óscar Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulino Ferrão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Afonso Pádua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Rui Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matias Gusmão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Pádua having to interfere. Herberto Sequeira kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Rio Meão defense, Herberto Sequeira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afonso Pádua. The Rio Meão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afonso Pádua should have stopped the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

56 minutes into the match, Matias Gusmão notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Rio Meão's Afonso Pádua. Afonso Pádua was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Óscar Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. fc dragoom's Hélder Matias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Óscar Fontes in the 70th minute of play. Óscar Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariano Neiva during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rio Meão booed when fc dragoom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Óscar Fontes struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Hélder Matias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rio Meão. Matias Gusmão was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Rio Meão's Afonso Pádua proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Rio Meão from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Rio Meão's Amílcar Guerreiro got a free kick in the 88th minute. A collision led to fc dragoom getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Paulino Ferrão hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched fc dragoom eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
