Nazaré's Yuri Garcez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hélder Matias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, fc dragoom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Neiva to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes fc dragoom got a freekick which was hit by Herberto Sequeira. In the 24th minute, Mário Espírito Santo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.C. Nazaré fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With a left leg Hélder Matias saved fc dragoom from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Ivan Aguiar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hélder Matias was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Ivan Aguiar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hélder Matias having to make a save. After having played for 90 minutes, Mário Espírito Santo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.C. Nazaré's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mário Espírito Santo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivan Aguiar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Hélder Matias skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
