Edgar Sesimbra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The BlueJaguar fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when BlueJaguar's Adérito Peseiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edgar Sesimbra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliveira Salazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Oliveira Salazar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Sesimbra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. 31 minutes into the match, BlueJaguar's goalkeeper Călin Frâncu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adélio Arruda. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adérito Peseiro in the 33rd minute of play forced Alcangosta's goalkeeper Edgar Sesimbra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 minutes of play, BlueJaguar's Lisandro Machado made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alcangosta's Edgar Sesimbra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adérito Peseiro in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Adérito Peseiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edgar Sesimbra, 0-11. Alcangosta's Edgar Sesimbra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Machado in the 62nd minute of play. Eduardo Malafaia charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Calado couldn't finish the play. Adélio Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Frâncu having to interfere. Tiago Rijo hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Plácido Calado during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. BlueJaguar's Paulo Coelho was substituted for Adérito Peseiro. Paulo Coelho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edgar Sesimbra came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulo Coelho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Oliveira Salazar notched a goal, 0-13, to the right of Alcangosta's Edgar Sesimbra. Edgar Sesimbra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edgar Sesimbra was a little too slow when Paulo Coelho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-14. Alcangosta's Edgar Sesimbra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Alcangosta from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Alcangosta getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Joaquim Arruda hit a great ball. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Alcangosta's goalkeeper Edgar Sesimbra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 97th minute, Oliveira Salazar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Sesimbra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-16. BlueJaguar played a much better game than Alcangosta and deserved their victory. The Alcangosta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
