An unexpectedly hard shot by Adérito Peseiro in the 11th minute of play forced FC Lauro's goalkeeper Afonso Morais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonso Morais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliveira Salazar in the 13th minute of the match. Afonso Morais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliveira Salazar in the 29th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adérito Peseiro made a kick off. Adérito Peseiro struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Afonso Morais didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BlueJaguar. Oliveira Salazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lisandro Machado scored 0-5 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afonso Morais, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 61 played minutes FC Lauro got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Gouveia. In the 67th minute of the match, Lisandro Machado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Afonso Morais was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Adérito Peseiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Morais having to interfere. FC Lauro's Afonso Morais proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save FC Lauro from getting a goal against them. After 85 minutes, Alípio Belém mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Lauro and the BlueJaguar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lisandro Machado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Afonso Morais made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Adérito Peseiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Afonso Morais successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
