In the 7th minute, Aristides Gouveia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC CARVALHIDO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 10 minutes into the game, SC CARVALHIDO's Aristides Gouveia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Afonso Pádua made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Rio Meão's Reinaldo Moutinho got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Aristides Gouveia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC CARVALHIDO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Aristides Gouveia sped through Rio Meão's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Afonso Pádua. In the 32nd minute, Aristides Gouveia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afonso Pádua was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The SC CARVALHIDO fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when SC CARVALHIDO's Aristides Gouveia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aristides Gouveia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 44th minute, Aristides Gouveia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afonso Pádua was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9.

Filinto Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Garth Shaw ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afonso Pádua was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. Afonso Pádua didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aristides Gouveia went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. 64 minutes into the match, Rio Meão's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Gouveia came free, but Afonso Pádua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richard-Dean Mărăcuță recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Rio Meão's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Gouveia came free, but Afonso Pádua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rio Meão's zone, Richard-Dean Mărăcuță stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Pádua came out of the goal and Richard-Dean Mărăcuță tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reinaldo Moutinho hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 77th play minutes Aristides Gouveia shot 0-14, a short shot which went by Afonso Pádua and just under the crossbar into goal. After some careless play in the Rio Meão defense, Aristides Gouveia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afonso Pádua. The Rio Meão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afonso Pádua should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Rio Meão getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Filinto Amaral hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladimiro Carvalhais during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Rio Meão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Carvalhais to maneuver through the defense. SC CARVALHIDO's Aristides Gouveia got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Richard-Dean Mărăcuță took a quick shot and it went in 0-16 without a chance for Afonso Pádua to make any attempt to save it. If Aristides Gouveia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Rio Meão fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC CARVALHIDO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
