Matias Gusmão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Afonso Pádua having to make a save. A collision led to fc dragoom getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Herberto Sequeira hit a great ball. Óscar Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Matias having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Óscar Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reinaldo Moutinho's late challenge caught a fc dragoom's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reinaldo Moutinho helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rio Meão's Reinaldo Moutinho got a free kick in the 25th minute. Mariano Neiva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Afonso Pádua. Rio Meão's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 28 minutes in the game, Paulino Ferrão fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Afonso Pádua having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Matias Gusmão reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Afonso Pádua. The goal made the score 1-0. Hélder Matias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Óscar Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. fc dragoom's Hélder Matias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidónio Maciel in the 33rd minute of play. Matias Gusmão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Herberto Sequeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Afonso Pádua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulino Ferrão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Óscar Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rio Meão's supporters rose to their feet, but Óscar Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder Matias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 63 minutes of play, fc dragoom's Matias Gusmão made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afonso Pádua was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, fc dragoom's Hélder Matias got control of the ball when Óscar Fontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, fc dragoom's goal looked a bit too open when Sidónio Maciel came free, but Hélder Matias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afonso Pádua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Gusmão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Rio Meão defense, Paulino Ferrão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afonso Pádua. The Rio Meão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afonso Pádua should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Matias Gusmão managed to get in a good position for a shot. fc dragoom's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Gusmão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Pádua breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Afonso Pádua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Ferrão in the 86th minute of the match. fc dragoom's Matias Gusmão got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matias Gusmão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Afonso Pádua having to make a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rio Meão players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for fc dragoom.
