But to his dismay, Evandro Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Adalberto Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Álvaro Graça hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 32 played minutes Lobatos FC got a freekick which was hit by Gastão Monteiro. Ivan Garcia was a little too slow when Magno Matos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gastão Monteiro was the one to do the kick off. Gastão Monteiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariano Andujar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Águia do Norte FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lobatos FC for a fine match.
