After some careless play in the Cotinguiba Esporte Clube- defense, Honorato Regueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hauk Thuen. The Cotinguiba Esporte Clube- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hauk Thuen should have stopped the shot. Hauk Thuen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kunnar Vaiknemets, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Honorato Regueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Adão Almeida came out of the goal and Gorka Mendieta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hauk Thuen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geraldo Santarém in the 28th minute of the match. Hauk Thuen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Regueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cotinguiba Esporte Clube-'s zone, Kunnar Vaiknemets stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hauk Thuen came out of the goal and Kunnar Vaiknemets tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, Prozela FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gorka Mendieta fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cotinguiba Esporte Clube-'s Hauk Thuen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kunnar Vaiknemets in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Cotinguiba Esporte Clube- booed when Prozela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kunnar Vaiknemets didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Gorka Mendieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

After 54 played minutes Cotinguiba Esporte Clube- got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Barbosa. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honorato Regueira in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hauk Thuen saved Cotinguiba Esporte Clube- from getting behind. After 65 played minutes Prozela FC got a freekick which was hit by Heitor Amorim. Adão Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gorka Mendieta in the 67th minute of play. Hauk Thuen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Regueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Cotinguiba Esporte Clube-'s Hauk Thuen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Regueira in the 71st minute of play. Radoslaw Kon kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Gorka Mendieta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adão Almeida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Kunnar Vaiknemets took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Hauk Thuen to make any attempt to save it. 94 minutes into the game, Gorka Mendieta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Adão Almeida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adão Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Prozela FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
