Spectators: 8000 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gorka Mendieta started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gorka Mendieta in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tarcísio Andrade saved SC Coroada from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Aelenei got free with Hauk Thuen in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gorka Mendieta in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tarcísio Andrade saved SC Coroada from getting behind. After 11 played minutes SC Coroada got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Clis. Hauk Thuen came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Coroada's Jochen Hauschild. But to his dismay, Jochen Hauschild quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Hauk Thuen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergo Herde in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Marcus Aurelius recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hauk Thuen. Marcus Aurelius showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. A hard shot 22 in the game by Marcus Aurelius from a close distance when the talented Hauk Thuen managed to make a qualified save. Cotinguiba Esporte Clube-'s players were relieved. Tarcísio Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakob Hegg in the 24th minute of play. Éder Guimarães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Tarcísio Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Coroada's Tarcísio Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gorka Mendieta in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute Cotinguiba Esporte Clube- were awarded a corner. Raimundo Vilela went to the cornerflag to take it. Tarcísio Andrade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gorka Mendieta's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. When Martin Aelenei fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Coroada's protests and gave Martin Aelenei a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes SC Coroada got a freekick which was hit by Martin Aelenei. In the 40th minute, Éder Guimarães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Aelenei was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, SC Coroada's Jochen Hauschild got a free kick in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Cotinguiba Esporte Clube- getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Leonard Vestberg hit a great ball. In the 54th minute Jochen Hauschild shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hauk Thuen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gorka Mendieta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcísio Andrade having to interfere. Gorka Mendietas short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Tarcísio Andrade to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, SC Coroada's Tarcísio Andrade got control of the ball when Éder Guimarães tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute, Éder Guimarães reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tarcísio Andrade. The goal made the score 2-2. 68 minutes into the match, Cotinguiba Esporte Clube-'s goal looked a bit too open when Sergo Herde came free, but Hauk Thuen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Meng Qi hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Martin Aelenei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Coroada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 80th match minute, Cotinguiba Esporte Clube- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torcato Coimbra to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jochen Hauschild in the 82nd minute of play forced Cotinguiba Esporte Clube-'s goalkeeper Hauk Thuen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hauk Thuen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Aurelius in the 84th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gorka Mendieta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tarcísio Andrade was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Sergo Herde hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After 94 minutes, Raimundo Vilela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cotinguiba Esporte Clube- and the SC Coroada players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cotinguiba Esporte Clube-'s Raimundo Vilela got a free kick in the 94th minute. SC Coroada's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
