Evaristo Moreno scored 0-3 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sálvio Amaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Noel Toscano came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Marcosta F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noel Toscano couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Evaristo Moreno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sálvio Amaro was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Sálvio Amaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars-Erik Pil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Marcosta F.C fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Marcosta F.C's Evaristo Moreno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 22 minutes into the match, Evaristo Moreno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sálvio Amaro. REAL MADRID's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evaristo Moreno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Lars-Erik Pil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Virgílio Ferro threw the ball into play from the sideline. Marcosta F.C's Iwo Zacharzewski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Sálvio Amaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evaristo Moreno's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Evaristo Moreno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Lars-Erik Pil made a precise shot to the right of Sálvio Amaro. REAL MADRID's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. After having played for 39 minutes, Evaristo Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marcosta F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evaristo Moreno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sálvio Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Moreno in the 47th minute of play. When Abílio Carvalhais fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored REAL MADRID's protests and gave Abílio Carvalhais a yellow card for diving instead. The REAL MADRID players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Marcosta F.C were winning 0-7.

The wind increased when Lars-Erik Pil made the kick off in the second half. Evaristo Moreno made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 52ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Sálvio Amaro would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Evaristo Moreno could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Sálvio Amaro however easily saved by the left post. After 55 minutes, Evaristo Moreno made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. REAL MADRID's Sálvio Amaro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sálvio Amaro was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Evaristo Moreno capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Evaristo Moreno really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars-Erik Pil in the 71st minute of play forced REAL MADRID's goalkeeper Sálvio Amaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Marcosta F.C's Evaristo Moreno dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. REAL MADRID's Sálvio Amaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Moreno in the 80th minute of play. Lars-Erik Pil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sálvio Amaro having to interfere. When Evaristo Moreno came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Marcosta F.C fans jumped to their feet. Jarbas Faria took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Altino Santarém. Marcosta F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The REAL MADRID fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Marcosta F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
