After 10 played minutes Sport Maia got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Santos. Albérico Igrejas made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Cucu Fernández sent off a good shot on target. Albérico Igrejas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cucu Fernández in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute Egídio Regueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albérico Igrejas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When SC Atouguio's Sean Demeyer in 28 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Albérico Igrejas guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Brynn Locking took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Albérico Igrejas. Sport Maia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of SC Atouguio booed when Sport Maia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Teves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 minutes, Francisco Trinca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sport Maia and the SC Atouguio players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sport Maia's Francisco Trinca got a free kick in the 94th minute. The supporters of SC Atouguio booed when Sport Maia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Boaventura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cucu Fernández took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albérico Igrejas. Albérico Igrejas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. SC Atouguio walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
