Vladimiro Sesimbra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cucu Fernández in the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Paços de Giela's Alexandrino Lage got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Vladimiro Sesimbra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Egídio Regueira went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the game, Cucu Fernández cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Vladimiro Sesimbra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 16 minutes into the match, Valter Valido notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Paços de Giela's Vladimiro Sesimbra. Vladimiro Sesimbra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vladimiro Sesimbra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Rangel in the 21st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Paços de Giela defense, Manuel Rangel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimiro Sesimbra. The Paços de Giela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimiro Sesimbra should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Paços de Giela's Teodoro Quadros got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Manuel Rangel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cucu Fernández scored 0-5 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vladimiro Sesimbra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vladimiro Sesimbra came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Atouguio's Manuel Rangel. But to his dismay, Manuel Rangel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. After a rather tough play, SC Atouguio's Gică Lucescu got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Vladimiro Sesimbra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Rangel, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After some careless play in the Paços de Giela defense, Nichifor Târlea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimiro Sesimbra. The Paços de Giela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimiro Sesimbra should have stopped the shot. Vladimiro Sesimbra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valter Valido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimiro Sesimbra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nichifor Târlea in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Regueira in the 46th minute of play forced Paços de Giela's goalkeeper Vladimiro Sesimbra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Manuel Rangel made the kick off in the second half. Manuel Rangel took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladimiro Sesimbra. Vladimiro Sesimbra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. After a defensive mix-up in Paços de Giela's zone, Manuel Rangel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimiro Sesimbra came out of the goal and Manuel Rangel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Egídio Regueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Paços de Giela's Vladimiro Sesimbra got control of the ball when Valter Valido tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Paços de Giela's goalkeeper Vladimiro Sesimbra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cucu Fernández. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Sales in the 60th minute of play forced SC Atouguio's goalkeeper Franciszek Piechna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paços de Giela's Vladimiro Sesimbra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Paços de Giela from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Manuel Rangel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vladimiro Sesimbra. That made the score 0-10 in the 65 minute of play. Vladimiro Sesimbra came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Atouguio's Egídio Regueira. But to his dismay, Egídio Regueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. Vladimiro Sesimbra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egídio Regueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Paços de Giela's goal looked a bit too open when Egídio Regueira came free, but Vladimiro Sesimbra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimiro Sesimbra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valter Valido went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. In the 83rd play minute Cucu Fernández came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vladimiro Sesimbra. 0-13. Vladimiro Sesimbra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egídio Regueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Ivan Braga hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The supporters of SC Atouguio booed when Paços de Giela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cândido Braga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valter Valido took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladimiro Sesimbra. Vladimiro Sesimbra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-14. After 95 minutes of play Paços de Giela's Alexandrino Lage was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 96th match minute, Paços de Giela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandrino Lage to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded SC Atouguio left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Paços de Giela.
