Artur Caldas in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Franciszek Piechna, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Filomeno Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valter Valido, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If Valter Valido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gonçalo Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacinto Ponte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Artur Caldas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Valter Valido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind AD FAFE's goalkeeper Filomeno Santana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artur Caldas was the one to do the kick off. Franciszek Piechna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Caldas in the 53rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Artur Caldas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franciszek Piechna was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Cucu Fernández hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Noel Regueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Atouguio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artur Caldas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 70th minute, Artur Caldas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 73rd play minutes Artur Caldas shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Franciszek Piechna and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 77th minute, Artur Caldas made a precise shot to the right of Franciszek Piechna. SC Atouguio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Jacinto Ponte took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franciszek Piechna. Franciszek Piechna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. After 84 minutes, Artur Caldas made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. SC Atouguio's Franciszek Piechna tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of AD FAFE booed when SC Atouguio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valter Valido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franciszek Piechna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Ponte in the 88th minute of the match. Artur Caldas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Franciszek Piechna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franciszek Piechna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artur Caldas went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 95 minutes, Jacinto Ponte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AD FAFE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Ponte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AD FAFE were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Atouguio for a fine match.
