The Sport Açores e Benfica fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Sport Açores e Benfica's Valentim Vilas Boas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Valentim Vilas Boass short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Severiano Paião to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
