Romão Tomés short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Sebastião Moniz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Romão Tomé had several of the CristeloCovoBoys's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Sebastião Moniz as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Romão Tomé took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Sebastião Moniz to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, CristeloCovoBoys's Sebastião Moniz got control of the ball when Basílio Moutinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Porfírio Rebelo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 18th playminute. In the 21st minute, Romão Tomé ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastião Moniz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Sebastião Moniz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucílio Abreu in the 24th minute. Sebastião Moniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romão Tomé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Teodoro Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastião Moniz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 8-0. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Basílio Moutinho took a quick shot and it went in 9-0 without a chance for Sebastião Moniz to make any attempt to save it. CristeloCovoBoys's Sebastião Moniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romão Tomé in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 9-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romão Tomé stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Romão Tomé came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the ABELHEIRA.FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romão Tomé couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd minute, Porfírio Rebelo made a precise shot to the right of Sebastião Moniz. CristeloCovoBoys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. The ABELHEIRA.FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 16-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ABELHEIRA.FC fully deserved thier win.
