In the 9th minute, Hermínio Antas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valdemar Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lá máfia's Severiano Paião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Santana in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Hélder Santana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Severiano Paião was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Hélder Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aristides Pinho's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Aristides Pinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Teixeira. FC HMR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aristides Pinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 28 minutes into the match, Lá máfia's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Santana came free, but Severiano Paião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdemar Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severiano Paião came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by FC HMR's Valdemar Vieira. But to his dismay, Valdemar Vieira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. If Valdemar Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 43 played minutes Lá máfia got a freekick which was hit by Timóteo Balsemão. Hélder Esparteiro, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hélder Santana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Hélder Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Paião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélder Santana in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severiano Paião prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes into the match, FC HMR's goal looked a bit too open when Hermínio Antas came free, but Samuel Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélder Santana's late challenge caught a Lá máfia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélder Santana helped the player get up and apologised. Hélder Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Aristides Pinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Samuel Teixeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Samuel Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Pinho in the 83rd minute of the match. Samuel Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Aristides Pinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Teixeira. FC HMR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aristides Pinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FC HMR players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
