Spectators: 8045 (Terracing: 6035, Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 160) In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Acerca FC's goalkeeper Heitor Branco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 3 minutes into the game, Rogério Vigário recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Heitor Branco. Rogério Vigário showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 6th minute, one of Sport Açores e Benfica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sport Açores e Benfica. Basílio Moita walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Jacob Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Heitor Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Acerca FC booed when Sport Açores e Benfica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heitor Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Soveral, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. David Soveral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Branco having to interfere. When Adrian Mierzejewski fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Acerca FC's protests and gave Adrian Mierzejewski a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes Acerca FC got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Mierzejewski. Heitor Branco was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gervásio Vilhena. Jacob Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th match minute, Sport Açores e Benfica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when David Soveral made the kick off in the second half. Sport Açores e Benfica's Jacob Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adrian Mierzejewski kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When Jacob Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Sport Açores e Benfica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacob Rocha couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the match, Acerca FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Soveral came free, but Heitor Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Acerca FC's Baltasar Magalhães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sérgio Viegas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Acerca FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Adrian Mierzejewski hit a great ball. David Soveral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heitor Branco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Sport Açores e Benfica's David Soveral got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Acerca FC's Adrian Mierzejewski got a free kick in the 77th minute. Paulo Neves made in the 80th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Klemensas Guzas however managed to control. In the 82nd minute, David Soveral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sport Açores e Benfica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 86 minutes into the game, Baltasar Magalhães recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sérgio Viegas. Baltasar Magalhães showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Heitor Branco came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Açores e Benfica's Maurício Gois. But to his dismay, Maurício Gois quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Szymon Scislowicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sérgio Viegas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Acerca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maurício Gois came free, but Heitor Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sport Açores e Benfica walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
